Al changes the name of the shoe store to "Al Bundy's House of Sole" when he and Jefferson discover thirty crates of unsold shoes from the 1970's. Meanwhile, Kelly is stung by a beetle that causes her to become unable to tell a lie. Al and Jefferson find a secret compartment in the shoe store filled with old 70’s shoes and make the shoe store 70’s themed.

Al looks through some old letters he never received, and finds out his driver's license expired. He has to go renew it, which would have been easy if Bud wasn't his driving instructor.

Meanwhile, Al and Jefferson get ripped off attempting to buy VHS tapes of the television series The Avengers..

Bud has the chance to earn a scholarship to Oxford if he can pass a test, but he has trouble finding a quiet place to study. Meanwhile, Marcy's troubled niece Amber visits from Los Angeles. Bud has to study for an exam, but soon finds out Marcy’s niece Amber, who he starts spending time with mutually. .

episode 5.Al refuses to serve a breast-feeding woman at the shoe store, which causes Marcy to organize a sit-in. Meanwhile, Peggy encounters difficulties during her train ride home.Peggy tries to get home, but there are train delays. In the meantime, Al and Marcy once again battle it off in a protest. .

Al's counter protest fizzles when he finds out breast-feeding in public is legal. Rather than give in to the women, he decides to restock the store with only men's shoes, only to find out the store's owner, Gary, is coming to visit. Al now wants the women gone from his shoe store, so he changes it into a men’s shoe store.

Bud is put in charge of a hotline service catering to virgins who feel tempted to have sex before they're ready. He ends up at a virgin's house to talk her out of sex, gets turned on by her and sleeps with her mom. and Al runs into Marcy in the adult section, where she claims she intends to erase the movies she's renting and then return them. One of the movies prominently displayed near the front counter is Dutch.

Jefferson buys a Barbie doll for Marcy on her birthday, but soon finds out that the doll is worth $50,000. In order to get a replacement and the money, he asks Al for help, which means sleeping with Marcy!

Kelly auditions for a sitcom, but soon starts talking about her family, which becomes the base of the sitcom. The D’Arcy’s thought it was funny, but soon the sitcom mentions them too.

episode 10 of season 9.Al and his friends are challenged to play a football game against a rival school that had to be cancelled during Polk High's championship season. However, they are put at a disadvantage when they discover their former quarterback is now a woman, and the other team is full of ringers..

episode 11 of season 9 of the show " a man for no seasons " kicks off with an another episode...With Major League Baseball on strike, the owner of the nudie bar decides to sponsor a new league organized by Al and his fellow NO MA'AM members. Meanwhile, Bud and Kelly fill in for Al at the shoe store.

Marcy's feminist group gets Al's favorite show, Psycho Dad, cancelled, and NO MA'AM decides to picket outside of the television station. Meanwhile, Bud and Kelly try to convince Al to let them host a party.Al and his group decide to rebel when his favorite show, Psycho Dad, gets cancelled. They soon go to Washington D.C. to settle the dispute.

Al and his fellow NO MA'AM members head to Washington D.C. with the hope of lobbying the Senate to bring back Psycho Dad. Meanwhile, Bud's and Kelly's house party gets out of control.Al talks to the Senate about why his show shouldn’t be cancelled, but unfortunately fails. He does get to save someone’s life from a robbery, though.

The women go with the men to the nudie bar, and later end up having sex. In the meantime, Kelly gets a part in a weight loss commercial as the before side.

Amber thinks that Bud should help Kelly in her next commercial audition, where she must learn archery.

The Bundys go on a trip to Wanker county. They stop at a car wash where they find Steve, and soon find out that the car has been stolen.

In the 200th episode, clips of past episodes are shown. This episode is hosted by George Plimpton and you get to see the Married With Children set as just a Hollywood set and not the Bundy household.

Buck tries to prove to Al that he isn't getting senile by burying something in the backyard, but unfortunately he chooses the gift Al was about to give Peg for their 25th anniversary. Meanwhile, Marcy and Peg spend the day a health spa with an expensive gift shop. Buck buries it in the backyard, resulting in a dig by Bud and Kelly.

episode 19 " ship happens part one " of the show " married with children "Peg wins four sub-sub-economy tickets for a Caribbean cruise and takes Al and the D'arcys with her, but Al is disappointed when he discovers it's full of overweight women. Meanwhile, Wolfman Jack makes himself a part of the Bundy household.

Kelly is nominated Student of the Month at her acting school by Larry Storch, and they are going to perform the play, The Phantom of the Opera, together. Larry Storch comes to visit the Bundys, but Al is stuck selling shoes. When Mr. Storch visits the shoe store, Gary punches him for ruining her once, knocking him out. Al tries to fill his role in the play, but his plan doesn’t work.

Peg wins the $10,000 grand prize in a bingo tournament held at a church in a bad neighborhood. Meanwhile, NO MA'AM has to choose a new official beer after Yoko Ono becomes the spokesperson of Girlie Girl Beer.n the meantime, Al and the other members of NO’MAAM decide what their official beer will be, and there’s great conflict.

Bud participates in a virtual reality study on human sexuality, and chooses Amber as his perfect mate. Meanwhile, Al spends his vacation with his friends trying to figure out what a switch in the kitchen controls.The real Amber soon learns about this, and she and Kelly plot to ruin the experiment. .

Al and the Bundys make a film about shoes, and get $10,000. They are asked to do another one, which wasn’t as good as the first.

The plot is mainly about Bud and his girlfriend April’s relationship. He asks her to go steady, but her other boyfriend asks her too, and they both fight for her affections. This is all done during Olvier Cole and Mark Campbell’s radio show at their school, where everyone hears in on their conversation.
